Obituary of Martin D. Gerighty

Martin D. “Marty” Gerighty, 41 of Lansingburgh, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Born in Troy, Marty is the son of Michael D. and Linda A. Bradshaw Gerighty, Sr. and was educated in the Lansingburgh public elementary schools and at Lansingburgh High School. Marty was employed by Skyway Roofing in Menands and had been employed previously in several local establishments as a cook. He loved roofing, cooking, spending time and being involved with his kids activities at school and at Lansingburgh Little League, Troy Patriots Pop Warner Football, Lansingburgh Youth Soccer and indoor football. In addition to being survived by his parents Linda and Mike, Marty is the cherished father of Blake and Gage Gerighty, the devoted brother of Tammy (Jim) Collins, Michael D. (Michelle) Gerighty, Jr., Joe (Kim) Gerighty and Patrick J. (Megan Coon) Gerighty, also survived by 7 nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A private family Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine's Church, Lansingburgh. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J.
