M. Edward Berthiaume, Jr. died at his home on March 8, 2021. He is predeceased by his parents, Maurice E. and Margaret Gauthier Berthiaume.
He is survived by his brother, Jim (Val), his sister, Chris (Stu), his nieces, Ayn (Jason)
and Jul; his nephews Devin (KC) and Eamonn (Jillian); his grand nieces Macy and Mia and his grand nephew, Parker.
Services are private. Ed’s final resting place is in the family plot at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Troy, NY.
He graduated from The Albany Academy and Princeton University. He received his J.D. and MBA degrees from NYU. Ed was a corporate attorney.
He was commissioned a Second Lt. in the ROTC program.
Ed was an avid golfer at Race Brook Country Club. He was always trying to Improve that swing! He shared golfing stories which showed his enjoyment of the sport. Thanks to all who contributed to his golf days.
Ed was quietly religious and he held his faith in highest reverence.
The family wishes to thank Ed’s neighbors for their concern and vigilance and many kindnesses.
We also extend our gratitude to Ed’s golfing friends at Race Brook CC. You are special to him. Sincere thanks to Ed’s friends, Dr. Stanley Einbinder and Mrs. Einbinder . You have been loyal over the years.
