Obituary of Kevin J. Kryskowski

Kevin J. Kryskowski, 71, of Halfmoon, beloved husband of Sigrid Vompa, peacefully entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 10, 2022 surrounded by family.

Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Walter and Mildred Guzy Kryskowski, was a graduate of Keveny Academy in Cohoes and earned his BA from SUNY Albany.

Kevin was President and Owner of Business Intermediary Group, LLC. He was a well-respected Business Broker in the Capital district for over 30 years. Kevin was highly regarded for his knowledge, honesty, dedication and customer service - which were the foundation of his business practices.

In their 35 years together, he and Sigrid shared a love of photography and travel. Kevin was especially fond of their travels to Maine, attending the Adirondack balloon festival and Craft Fairs. He also enjoyed working with his hands whether creating pieces with paracord or building things. Always curious, he loved thinking outside the box to resolve challenges. Family and friends benefited from his culinary experiments whether it was pickling, making Christmas fudge or other kitchen creations that he loved to share.

Kevin is survived by his beloved family, friends and dog. He was blessed with a lifetime of happy memories built around them. Kevin will be remembered for his adventurous spirit but especially for his witty, dry sense of humor which brought a smile to all who were blessed to know him.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, New York 12065.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Waterford.
