I knew Jean through my wife Mary Ann and would stop by occasionally with her to visit. I was always amazed at the wonderful figurines and decorations she had out that she had made herself and how she would change them through the seasons and holidays. Jean was very talented. Most of all though I’ll remember her kindness. Jean had a way of making you feel comfortable around her, always welcoming, always so friendly. She will be missed. Ed Sutton

It took me twenty years after I married her nephew to make it up to meet her, even though we corresponded often. She is the one that encouraged me to paint. I am not very good at it, but it brings me a lot of joy and she said that is what matters.

Jean, You will be greatly missed. I was so lucky to have been matched with you 6 years ago , it was truly an honor. I have so many wonderful memories of you sharing your life stories and shopping with you and for you. You taught me a great deal about the importance of truly respecting how someone chooses to live out their final years. Mary Ann
