Obituary of Alexandria Kirsten Student

Alexandria “Alex” K. Student, 33, of Hudson Avenue died on Sunday May 1, 2022 at Saratoga Hospital after a long illness. She was born on Nov. 6, 1988 and was the beloved daughter of Donald J. Student of Saratoga Springs and the late Dawn Hobbs Student who passed away in 2004. She was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and worked in childcare, fitness instruction and real estate. Alex loved gardening, cooking, kayaking, her arts and crafts and being with her special loves, “Olivia and Luna”.
Alex is the devoted sister of Sara E. (Mark) Schwendinger of Greenwich, NY; cherished granddaughter of Alton Hobbs of Cohoes, NY and the late Lorraine Hobbs and Donald and Shirley Student. She is also survived by many loving family members and her only beloved niece, Clara Dawn Schwendinger.
Calling hours will be from 11:00am – 1:00 pm Friday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
A celebration of life will be at 3:00 pm Friday at the Hideaway at Saratoga Lake Golf Course, following the calling hours at the funeral home.
