The last time that we saw Jack he was smiling and he said to me........MJ, I have had a few and I said "Jack"......."go for it". He adored Mary and the family and he will be missed terribly but he is where he has wanted to be for a while and that is with his Ginny. Mary John and the girls.................your life will be so much better now filled with the good memories and knowing that he will always be around. Take those memories and feel joy for all the good years that you had with him. I love you my sister and will always be there for you.
MJ and Kevin

Jack was my first boss as I started my career with HFC. Not only was he the best mentor that I’ve known, but he also had a great impact on my life. Jack was held in high regard with everyone at HFC. He created a pride to be part of his team. His leadership, humor and support to those around him will be missed but remembered.

Jack hired this country boy and tried to clean him up and make him into something, like he did for so many young men and women over his lifetime of mentoring. I had the good fortune of speaking with him until recently sharing stories and memories of over 50 years. He was a great man and I hope he enjoys his next life in the wonderful company of his Ginny.

Over the years we made the trip from Vermont to Clifton Park many times. Often for events that our granddaughters , Megan and Lauren were in, starting with their births and then the many activities they were involved with including family vacations. For each visit we always received a warm welcome from Jack and the offer of a cold beer and some snack food. Although we didn’t share favorite sports teams we were in agreement on all the important things in life. His passing leaves a sadness for our loss but also a joy for having known him.
Rest In Peace
