Obituary of Alicia Nicole Sbrega

Alicia Nicole Sbrega, 30, of Bennington, VT and formerly of Troy, NY, entered into eternal life at Yale Hospital in New Haven, CT on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

Born in Troy, New York, Alicia is the daughter of Mary St. John Tackette and Joseph Guile, Sr. and earned her GED in Pittsfield at Berkshire College.

Alicia was a Cashier at Cumberland Farms in North Adams, MA.

Those who knew Alicia, knew that she was the type of person that when she met you, you instantly became her friend. She loved music but more than anything, loved spending time with her young son Todd Raymond McQuade, III and his father Todd R. McQuade, Jr., who was her longtime companion.

Alicia is the loving “Mommy” of Toddy, beloved daughter of Mary and Joseph, dear sister of Thomas St. John, Joseph Guile, Jr. and Charlie Weatherwax, Jr., cherished maternal granddaughter of Clarisse Miller and is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece, two nephews, loved ones and friends.

Her funeral service and reflections will be celebrated by Pastor David Lewis on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115^th Street and Fourth Avenue in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.

Calling hours will be held that afternoon (Monday) for relatives and friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Alicia’s family asks that you join them to continue to celebrate her life on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. following the services at the funeral home at a reception in her honor at the Pleasantdale Fire Hall, 1178 River Rd., Troy, NY 12182.

Her family wishes to express their most sincere appreciation to cousin Jack Cox, III and his wife Amanda as well as to Yale Hospital, Yale Suites and the angels with the airlift/med-vac team who transported her from the hospital in Bennington, VT to Yale Hospital in New Haven, CT.
