Herman J. "Frenchy" LaClair, 88, longtime resident of Clifton Park, most recently of The Mansion in Cambridge, peacefully entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Born and educated in Churubusco, NY, he was the son of the late John and Rose Gervis LaClair and the beloved husband of the late Helen Godfrey Marinucci and the late Ghislaine Tremblay LaClair.
Mr. LaClair was a Truck Driver for C & C Packing in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
He loved hanging out with his Stewart's Coffee Club friends in Clifton Park, playing the Lottery, listening to the Harmonic Duo, dinners at Marleny's and playing cards with family.
Devoted father of Herman (Marie) LaClair, Donald (Linda) LaClair, Marlene (Doug) Delurey, George LaClair, Peter LaClair and the late Otto Christopher LaClair and Christine LaClair, brother of Gerry (Henry) Fleuren, John (Betsy) LaClair and the late Harold LaClair who is survived by his wife Beatrice, also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 or to The Mansion, 11South Union St., Cambridge, NY 12816, in memory of Herman J. LaClair.
Private funeral services have been entrusted by the family to the White-Sanvidge Funeral Home, 58 Leversee Rd (RT-40 in Speigletown), Troy, NY 12182.
