So many memories with my sister.
She participated in Soap Box Derby for 1 year
As kids we played baseball, dodgeball, red rover, jump rope, sleigh riding at school 2 hills with neighborhood kids - Maria, Todd, Matt, Chris and John
We had our sister fights as all siblings do
As adults we had our moments but I miss her and being flooded with memories - the good and the bad
For a little over a year she lived with us and I had her be guinea pig with some of my dinners along with myself and my husband
asked her to try different veggies - 1 in particular - roasted brussel sprouts - lol the face she made and said, "NO"
RIP Laura - you are missed and I miss our texts or morning conversations - as long as their was coffee we were good

The first photo was taken at Adirondack Animal Land July 2023. We had a great time.
The other photo was taken for 2022 Christmas Card. The dog in the photo is Dobby. Dobby crossed the rainbow bridge in February 2023.
I believe she is with him along with our parents and are Aunts, Linda and Bev.
Rest in Peace
your sister, Kim Benner {Pitcher}

Going down memory lane now.
When Laura and I were younger, growing up we had our normal sister fights.
We used to play a game of slapping each others face, lol it was fine until we started getting/giving harder slaps. Our mother always had to stop us.
We played wiffle, soft ball and hard ball baseball with neighbor hood kids, mainly the Cancilla's....Maria, Todd, Matt, Chris and John...fun times
We would sleigh ride down the big hill by school 2, went in when we were practically blue, lol.
For one year she did soap box derby.
One time camping, our family dog Snoopy got out and I'm chasing him in bare feet over those horrible stones while yelling to Laura, get his leash, It took 3 yells and me saying, "Get his damn leash" until she heard me. I was 14 and she was 13. That particiular day my parents went out for a couple of hours to do adult things, They came back to a screen door with a hole in it. We explained and Snoopy was bold puppy.

My mom once tried to make rice from a box and followed the directions a little too well, and pan fried the rice only, not using a drop of water to actually cook the rice afterwards, Me and Zack I think this was before Josh was born ended up eating crunchy rice that night for dinner, it was the funniest thing, never let her live it down and it always got a laugh out of us.
