Our heartfelt sympathy extends out to Anthony's family. I never met Anthony although I feel as though I knew him from others post. What a fantastic young man he was! My son also went to SSHS. My tears flow as I understand your pain.
We will never understand why things happen the way they do. May you know that Anthony is around you and one day you will all meet again.
Cherish the beautiful memories and know that God has a plan as well as his hand. May Anthony be at peace.
Our thoughts and prayer's go out to you all during this difficult time.

I am the Cook at Boces & I just wanted to share with you the impact Anthony had on us even though we were only able to chat with him a few minutes at a time. He always greeted us with his contageous smile, politeness & sometimes a short story of the events of the day. He also became one of our food critics because he enjoyed the food & we valued his opinion on "new" menu items knowing he would give us a straight answer. He always thanked us & departed with "have a good day or weekend. We miss him & our hearts & thoughts are with you during this difficult time & we hope all of your precious & happy memories will aide in your healing process.
With deepest sympathy,
Pauline

I am so saddened by the loss of his bright, smiling face. Anthony was always polite, funny, and kind. His regular visits to the SSHS nurses' office with well wishes, stories, or news of his accomplishments were a welcome part of the day and will be missed. My sincerest condolences go out to his Mother, Father and entire family. My thoughts are with you and hopes of all the stories shared bring you comfort.

To the family and friends of Anthony Stefanacci, I send my heartfelt condolences to you all. I worked at the High School as an A.P. Secretary and had many interactions with Anthony. Our office ran clubs at the time, and Anthony was in and out with a myriad of ideas. What stood out about Anthony was he was always polite, respectful and kind. He had a million-dollar smile, and it was always a pleasure to see him walk through my door. He made a difference while he was here. His legacy will be that of kindness and caring.
Most sincerely,
Michele Kressner

I met AJ as an elementary school student. He was one of those children I’ll never forget. He had so much spunk, a great sense of humor and was fun to talk to. When I saw him a couple months ago at the grocery store I couldn’t believe how time had passed. He still had the same smile and sense of humor. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family and hoping you all find comfort in knowing how many lives Anthony touched and how many special memories he has given so many. I am so sorry.

When I first met Anthony it was when I moved to Saratoga my 7th grade year. I didn't know anyone and his dad and my stepdad were friends and wanted me to meet him. We ended up getting a lot of the same classes and he showed me around the school. He was my first friend I had here. He would always show me his Disney pins, Lego sets and all these different fire trucks and how they are different from each other. We lost touch a bit but could always pick up like nothing happened. Thank you AJ for making an impact on my life.

For the year and a half that I worked in the high school library, we had countless conversations, about school and his dreams. After that he would greet me by opening the door in the morning and seeing him in the hall, yes always smiling and super excited about the EMT and fire department. I also was blessed last year as I work at the track in the summer where he would be the crossing guard every night when I would leave. He seemed to love everything he did. He is truly missed.

Anthony had Mrs. Sperber in Third Grade. I was the other 3rd grade teacher. I remember Anthony at recess mostly. He liked to chat actually. He had a bright spirit and liked to make people laugh. My son was also in his class. I am so sorry, and we pray for Anthony's family.

We knew AJ's grandfather, Gene. I remember years ago - maybe 30-35 years, Gene saying that Matt always wanted to be a professional firefighter. And to think that AJ wanted to follow in his Dad's footsteps. I'm sure Gene has his steady hand on AJ's shoulder and will take it from here. We are so sorry for AJ's family - we know what it is like to lose a child. I hope you get some comfort in knowing how much of a positive effect AJ had on so many others.

I never had AJ as a student, but like countless other staff at Saratoga Spring High School, AJ made himself known. While on hall duty over the past few years, AJ would always stop to say hello and share a little bit about what was going on in his life......proud uncle photos of a new nephew, happenings at the fire station, his "driving" set-up, and so many other fun adventures in his life. I will miss seeing his smile every day and his passion for making those around him feel welcomed and part of a community.
