Obituary of Kathleen R. Stebbins
Kathleen R. “Kathy” Stebbins, 69, of Troy, passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer at Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville on Friday, June 28, 2024.
Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Henry Welch and Arlene Williams Welch.
Kathy was a homemaker. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart.
Devoted mother to Erik J. Gelina and Tracie E. Gelina (Greg Nahmyuk), dear sister of Bobby Welch, Ronald Welch, Lynne (Thomas) Griswold, Cindy (Richard) Moak, Gary Welch and the late Pamela Sandercox and the late Sharon Brown, cherished grandmother of Justin Waters, Steven Waters, Tristen Gelina, Ryan Gelina and Erika Gelina also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and to the Funeral Service where reflections will be shared that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.
Kathy’s family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to Community Hospice and Mountain Valley Hospice for their wonderful care provided to her.
