Stacey, Mary, Tom, and all your families: Betty and I have had a very special friendship going back to the early 1980's. Although there was 18 years between us, we watched each other's families grow over the years and then we both lost our husbands within a month of each other. We would get together with Joan at the Barnsider a few times a year and enjoy our hawkeye sandwiches and a glass of wine. Whenever we were together we would remember all the good times and laughs we had when we worked together. I will truly miss her and I am honored to have been a friend of hers for all these years. I hope she was greeted by Bill in heaven and is now at peace as she watches over the family that she loved so much.
