Obituary of Andrew R. Landor, Jr.

Andrew R. Landor Jr. of Waite Road, Rexford, born to the late, Andrew R. and Helen (Ceremuga) Landor on February 23, 1955 and passed away of January 13,2025. A lifelong resident of the Clifton Park, he was interested and respected in multiple areas. A graduate of SCCC in Fire Protection Technology. He worked for GE Waterford and GE Kesselring (Occupational Health and Safety). His interests in healthcare also included acquiring his CNA and Paramedic certifications. He was President of Clifton Park-Halfmoon Ambulance Corps for four years as it was starting to grow and develop into a large organization. “Rich” was active in other areas including marketing and education for radio stations and consumer industries (Cascades).
He enjoyed a diverse range of activities from renovating his home from the basement to the roof including putting on brick and cedar siding and laying hardwood or tile on all the floors; and with the help of his father adding an addition that almost doubled the size of the home. He ran TV studio cameras helping at events and charities and played acoustic guitar. His really enjoyment came from years of attending all his son’s athletic games through high school and college and many great times at the families’ camps on Woodland Lake in the Adirondacks.
Andrew was significantly disabled for 15 yrs. after an adverse event from hernia surgery and is thankful to his devoted son, Andrew R. III (Jenna Hull) for all the care and attention. He also leaves his two cherished grandsons, Chase and Gavin Landor. His two brothers Michael Landor, Corinth and Joseph (Margaret) Landor, Cohoes, and their two children, his nieces respectively, Dr. Laura Landor (Dr.Tom Manual), Port Jefferson and Shana (John) Hannon, Babylon both on Long Island and Jessica (Hayden Bauer) Landor of Lake Tapps, Washington State and Chelsea (Matthew) Landor- Plew of Rensselaer. He's also grateful for the support and assistance of his former wife, Nancy Landor.
Funeral will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church Crescent, 86 Church Hill Rd. Waterford, NY 12188, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Calling hours will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16th in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Waterford, NY.
