Obituary of Ross Gary Burbank

Ross Gary Burbank, 81, of Grooms Road, died on Friday Sept. 15, 2017 at Schuyler Ridge Residential Health Care Center in Clifton Park, NY.  He was born on Oct. 13, 1935 in Austin, Quebec, Canada and was the son of the late Clyde and Olive Taylor Burbank.  Ross had been a Department Manager for Albany International Corp., formerly Albany Felt. He had worked there for over 44 years, starting in Cowansville, Quebec then to Gosford, Australia, Barrie England and finally in retiring from Menands, NY.  Ross enjoyed downhill skiing, hunting and gardening. 

He was the beloved husband of Donna Gay Jersey Burbank, whom he married on July 8, 1961; devoted father of Peter ( the late Lori) Burbank of Clifton Park, NY, Dean (Judy) Burbank of Glenville, NY and Julie G. Burbank of Saratoga Springs, NY; brother of Craig Burbank of Knowlton, Quebec, Beverly Morris of Montreal, and the late Wayne Burbank; also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Jonesville Cemetery, Jonesville, NY.
