Melrose - Elizabeth "Betty" Penk, 76, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday December 2, 2017. Born in Cohoes, she is the daughter of the late Alma and Francis Roy.

Betty was employed by UniFirst for the past 19 years until her retirement. She loved to spend time with her family as well as crafting and reading.

Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard J. Penk; her children, Susan Penk and Thomas (Michele) Penk; her grandchildren, Brianna Penk, Charles Penk and Josh Penk; her brother,  Robert (Shirley) Roy; and her sister-in-law, Kim Roy. She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Roy.

Funeral services for Betty will be private to the family and have been entrusted to the White-Sanvidge Funeral Home, 58 Leversee Rd. (RT-40 in Speigletown, New York 12182. Phone (518) 235-0952
