Obituary of Lena H. Stewart

Lena Helen Rossetti Morand Stewart, 85, formerly of Haughney Rd., Town of Schaghticoke, entered into eternal life on Friday, December 22, 2017.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Rose Marie Caparco Rossetti and the beloved wife of the late Roland Morand and the late Matthew Stewart. Lena was a graduate of Troy High School.

Lena was a waitress at the Red Front Restaurant in Troy for 35 years.

Devoted mother of Carol (David) Boisclair of Watervliet, cherished grandmother of David Boisclair, Jr. and Daniel (Tara) Boisclair, adored great grandmother of Daniel Boisclair, Jr., Lucas (Sara) Boisclair and  David Boisclair, III, loving great-great grandmother of James Elliot Boisclair, sister of the late Alphonse (late, Lucy) Rossetti and aunt of Frank Rossetti.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Faunal Home, (Corner of 115th Street and Fourth Avenue) in Lansingburgh.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Entombment will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Francis of Assisi Garden Mausoleum in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tibbits Avenue in Troy. (If attending, please gather at the mausoleum on Thursday at 9:45 a.m.).

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Fourth Floor staff at Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Albany for the great love and care which has been provided.
