Obituary of Tina M. Desnoyers

Tina M. Russo Desnoyers, 45, of Lancaster St., formerly of Groveside Road in Pittstown, peacefully entered into eternal life at Samaritan Hospital in Troy on Friday, April 13, 2018.

Tina was born in Albany, New York and was the daughter of Richard (Donna) Russo of Umatilla,  FL and the late Ruth Reed Garno and the beloved wife of the Robert W. “Robbie” Desnoyers, Jr., who passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011.

Tina was a graduate of Shaker High School and Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in Troy where she earned her BA in Nursing.

She enjoyed nursing and caring for her patients and people in general, spending time and activities with her friends and enjoyed watching and collecting movies.

Devoted mother of Amanda (Brice Simmons) Roberts of Temecula, CA, Austin Desnoyers of Troy, loving sister of Laura Russo, Tiffany Russo and Tezera Pulice, cherished grandmother of Talia Simmons and Arabella Desnoyers, also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, July 24th from Noon to 1pm as well as to a Celebration of Life Service of Tina which begins at 1:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110, in memory of Tina M. Desnoyers.
