Obituary of Satya N. Pabuwal

Satya N. Pabuwal, 78, died on Tuesday Dec. 11, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.  He was born Sept. 10, 1940 in Jaipur, India and was the son of the late Johrilalji and Naraini Devi Pabuwal.  Satya received his master's degree from the University of Chicago and retired as an Actuary from the NYS Dept. of Insurance in Albany where he had worked for 14 years.  Earlier, he had worked for Provident Mutual and CNA Insurance Companies.  He came to the US in 1965. Satya was a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries since 1981.  He was  also an avid Bridge Player.

He is the beloved husband of Shyama Gupta Pabuwal whom he married on May 10, 1973.  He is the father of Aditya (Michele) Pabuwal of Somerset, NJ, Vinit Pabuwal of NYC and Samit Pabuwal of W. Hollywood, CA; brother of  Kusum Lata, Saroj Devi, Vimla Devi, Savitri Devi and the late Rameshwar Lal, Radhey Shyam and Prabha Devi. 

Cherished grandfather of Arun, Maya and Ella Pabuwal; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will held on Saturday from 10:30 am -12:30 pm in the Gardner Earl Crematory at Oakwood Cemetery, 186 Oakwood Avenue Troy, NY 12182.
