Obituary of Martin J. Dalton, Sr.

Martin J. Dalton, Sr. President of Sanders Fire and Safety, died Sunday, January 13, 2019 after a brief illness.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathleen Dalton, his daughter Kathleen Dalton Lind and her husband Paul, his son

Martin J, Dalton, Jr. and his wife Nhi Dalton and grandchildren, Michael, Thomas and Catherine Lind and Calantha Dalton.  He was predeceased by his oldest grandson, Conor Dalton, brother, Peter Dalton, sister, Margaruite Schnaars.

Marty was a Sgt. In the U.S. Army, serving in Viet Nam.

Marty was a member of the American Legion, Post #1450, St. Edward’s Knights of Columbus, Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors and NFPA. 

He was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park, NY Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Edward the Confessor Church 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park. 

Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Saratoga Springs, NY.
