Obituary of Jerome Anthony Hill, Sr.

Jerome Anthony Hill, Sr., 67, of Troy, passed away on January 24, 2019 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Portsmouth, VA, he was the son of Elihue Hill, Sr. and Lucy Mae Whitfield. He worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed music, dancing and karate. Father of Laurice Hill, Alicia Hill, Jerome D. Hill, Jerome A. Hill, Timothy Reid and Robert Hill; brother of Ethel Rivers, Elihue Hill, Jr., Delores Perkins, Jeffrey Hill, Sylvester Hill, Louis Hill and the late Bessie  Mae Hasty and Gloria Hill. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Ave, Troy, NY 12182 (corner of 115th St and Fourth Ave., Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 on Thursday January 31st. – Viewing will precede the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
