Dear Diane, Hannah Jane and family.
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of "Uncle Rolf". We have such fond memories of him coming to the Odyssey Of The Mind Competition to watch Hannah Jane and our daughter Carly compete. Rolf would drive to wherever the team was and clap from the audience. He would study the structures built by all the kids competing and discuss strategy and technique. He was so kind after one particular competition. He quietly walked away and bought each team member a souvenir pin so they could remember their big day. He presented one pin to each teenager along with Hannah Jane and Carly. Uncle Rolf was a very special man who had a quiet kindness about him. He will be greatly missed. With much love,
