Obituary of Craig P. Brott, Jr.
Craig P. “CJ” Brott, Jr., 31, of Troy, unexpectedly passed away at home on Monday, September 16, 2019.
Born in Fort Clayton, Panama, CJ is the son of Craig P. and Tina Hansen Brott, of Salkum, WA.
CJ was a talented Ironworker having been employed by Iron Workers Local 12 in Albany.
CJ was also extremely gifted and talented musically. From him having a beautiful voice to being able to play the guitar, harmonica, piano, drums or just about any instrument he would encounter. CJ especially loved his guitar and all shapes, sounds and forms of music. Essentially, he was a gifted self-taught musician.
CJ was a beloved member of Redeeming Love Gospel Church in Troy, NY.
In addition to his parents Tina and Craig, CJ is survived by his two young children both of Upstate NY, his sister Ryan (Skipper) Green of Colorado Springs, CO and his brother Devon Brott of Schenectady, NY. He is also survived by his Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jeff Davis of Troy, NY, his Aunt Bonnie and (late) Uncle Jordan Evans of Castleton and his Uncle George and Aunt Janice Hansen of Roy, WA , as well as five cousins, niece, nephew, and countless friends considered to be family.
CJ’s family wishes to thank his friends and family for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support in this unbelievably difficult time. CJ was loved by so many people across the globe.
